Our person-centered services focus on the skills and behavior change that are important to the individual. Through the assessment process, we get to know our clients by interviewing the individual and their support team and observing the individual in their daily routines. Then we sit down as a team and create a treatment plan to empower our clients with a comprehensive repertoire of skills to live as independently as possible.
Once the assessment is complete, in-home services involve teaching the individual and/or their support team applied behavior analysis (ABA) for lifelong support. To better serve our clients we have shifted our services to focus on individual/parent education to address the needs of the person. Platinum believes this model gives the individual and/or their support team the tools needed for continued progress in their goals.
Additionally, coming late 2024, Platinum is excited to welcome individuals to social skills groups based on their age and needs. Social skills groups facilitate generalization of skills learned in the home, to a larger setting. These groups include but are not limited to game play, learning to engage in conversations, and community outings.
